Ghana Kingdom
New Sawereso-Seinuah embodies the spirit and traditions of the Ahafo people.
New Sawereso-Seinuah is a sub-national kingdom located in the Kukuom Traditional Area of Ahafo, Republic of Ghana, approx. 3 km (1.87 miles) north-east of Sayeraso, and approx. 35.4 km (22 miles) south-west of the capital city of Goaso.
Predating the founding of the Republic of Ghana, which occurred in mid-1960, the traditional Kingdom of New Sawereso-Seinuah was established in the late 1940s.
It is a member kingdom of the Asante Empire which, in 1935, was granted self-rule sovereignty by Great Britain as Kingdom of Asante.

THE CROSSED GOLDEN AND BLACK SWORDS: signified, the power and authority of the chief.
THE GOLDEN COLOR: symbolized the presence of gold and precious mineral deposit of the area.
THE GREEN COLOR: shows, forest reserve of the area.
THE BLACK STOOL: portrays the kind of Throne the chief occupied.
THE BLACK FIREDOG: shows that, the ruling dynasty is a true member of the ADUANA clan. The fire on the mouth of the black dog. Means that, the Aduana people are the true originator of fire. The dog together with the fire on the mouth is termed as’ATWEABREADE’ in our local dialect. the’ ATWEA’ means dog and the ‘ABREADE’ means something precious, which is ‘FIRE’.

“YAA ABREADE” OR “YAA OGYABA”. “Ogyaba” means son of fire.
THE OSEI DUAH FIE: means that, the ruling dynasty of the area, named the palace after the founder of NEW SAWERESO (SEINUAH), _who was, Nana Kwabena Osei Agyemang Duah I. For good legacy, he has left.
